Justice Sudhir Narayan expressed these views today, December 10, 2025, while addressing as the chief guest at the grand Human Rights Celebration and Felicitation Ceremony organized by the State Human Rights Organization at Hotel Shri Gulab Mansion, opposite the railway junction in Prayagraj, on the occasion of World Human Rights Day. The program began with the lighting of the lamp jointly by Chief Guest Justice Sudhir Narayan, Special Guest Justice Umesh Siddharth, National President of the organization Arvind Singh, and National General Secretary Advocate Akhilesh Tiwari. Organization officials Anil Mishra, Sulabh Srivastava, Preet Singh, Ayush Pratap Singh, Sandeep Sahu, Avantika Tandon, and Captain DK Singh garlanded and welcomed the guests. At the event, 15 dignitaries from Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Bhadohi, and Madhya Pradesh were honored with the Vishwa Human Rights Bhushan Award 2025 and the Bhushan Memorial 2025. Among them were Dr. Manish Pratap Singh, Associate Professor at Purvanchal University, and Dr. N.N. Farooqui. Twelve eminent personalities working in various fields in the Prayagraj division were honored with the Human Rights Bhushan Award 2025 and the Bhushan Memorial 2025 along with an Angavastram for their outstanding services in their respective fields. Addressing the event, Dr. Manish Pratap Singh, Associate Professor at Purvanchal University, stated that human rights are a concept of natural rights based on natural law. Human rights refer to the rights to life, liberty, equality, and dignity guaranteed to every citizen by the Constitution. All citizens should strengthen the concept of human rights by taking a pledge to protect human rights today. He further stated that in India, human rights prohibit discrimination against any being on the basis of color, gender, language, religion, sect, or property. The work of the State Human Rights Organization in this area is incomparable. The Constitution of India is the sacred text for the protection of human rights. We all must make continuous efforts to protect human rights. Addressing the program, the organization's National General Secretary, Akhilesh Tiwari, Advocate, said that human rights encompass the complete rights of all citizens of the nation. On December 10, 1948, the United Nations General Assembly granted all citizens of the world the rights of life, liberty, security, slavery, oppression, freedom of expression, property, residence, and freedom of expression. Therefore, International Human Rights Day is celebrated on December 10. At the program, the organization's National President, Dr. Arvind Singh, discussed the organization's public work and efforts against human rights abuses this year and shared the organization's pledge to implement programs for the protection of human rights in 2026.
