Shri Sunil Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Meja Urja Nigam attended the closing ceremony of the three-day ‘International Conference on Advancement in Energy’ as Chief Guest at MNNIT Allahabad, Prayagraj. The conference on energy transition saw the active participation of prominent academicians, researchers, engineers, and industry professionals from around the world, both in-person and virtually.The dignitaries shared their experiences and way forward about various aspects of Conventional and Non-Conventional Energy, power production, Energy Economics, Policies and other transition aspects.
During his address, Sunil Kumar, emphasized the pivotal role of resource diversification in India's energy transition phase. He said, “Recognizing this imperative, numerous companies have already initiated the transition process. NTPC, our promoter company, has successfully diversified its energy sources to include solar, hydro, wind, and more. Following in the footsteps of our parent company, MUNPL is steadfastly aligning its strategy and remains dedicated to diversifying its energy sources while adhering to the compliance of ESG norms.” During the closing ceremony, Sunil Kumar honored the participants and urged the gathering to actively engage in the ongoing energy transition phase, emphasizing the significant role of education in this transformative process. Moreover, Meja Urja Nigam co-sponsored the event with silver sponsorship.During the conference. Prof. Ravi Prakash, Prof. Avanish Kumar Dubey, MNNIT, Dr. Jitendra N.
