With the theme “Steps towards Success”, the two-day extravaganza attracted the attention of all the attendees.
The fair included several activities including dance, cultural programme, games, puppet show and career counseling workshop for children.
A book on 'Conscious Parenting' was also launched during the programme.
A special tribute was paid to the inauguration of Ram Mandir through a captivating sand art display.
Outside vendors from surrounding areas added to the liveliness with their stalls.
Addressing the gathering, Smt. Usha Kumar, President, Aparajita Mahila Samaj, stressed the importance of such programs in breaking the monotony of township life, providing ample opportunities for talent showcase and mutual learning.
Smt highlighted the importance of understanding evolving technologies and changing behavior patterns. Usha Kumar stressed the need for parents to adapt.
Students of Bal Srijan, Bal Bhavan and St. Joseph's School conveyed this message through dance performances underlining the importance of recognizing the strengths and weaknesses of children.
Also, the chief guest of the program, Sunil Kumar, while contributing to the welfare of the community, distributed bicycles to the beneficiaries of the Girl Child Empowerment Mission and blankets to the women beneficiaries of the nearby villages.
