MUNPL Meja celebrated National Sports Day 2024 with great enthusiasm and excitement, underscoring its commitment to fostering physical fitness and sportsmanship amongst its employees and their families. The event, held at Triveni Club on August 29, 2024, was a vibrant display of athletic prowess and team spirit.
The Chief Guest of the event, Kamlesh Soni, CEO of MUNPL Meja, inaugurated the celebrations with National Sports Day pledge. During the event he said, "National Sports Day is a reminder of the vital role that sports play in our lives. It teaches us discipline, teamwork, and resilience. At MUNPL Meja, we believe in fostering a culture of health and fitness, and today’s event is a testament to that commitment."
In line with this commitment, St. Joseph School, MUNPL, Meja also organized a diverse range of activities such as Kho-Kho, football, and volleyball. Students from different age groups participated with enthusiasm, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship in every event.
The event saw the active participation of senior officials, including Shri Ajit Basak, GM (O&M), Shri Pradeep Kumar Sabat, GM (C&M), and Shri Vivek Chandra, Head of HR, along with members of the Sports Council, employees, family members, and children.
MUNPL Meja has also planned various big-ticket sports activities till 31.08.2024 to further celebrate National Sports Day. These initiatives are designed to continuously encourage employees and their families to engage in physical activities and maintain a balanced lifestyle.
