Meja.Prayagraj (Vimal Pandey). Aparajita Mahila Samaj (AMS), Welfare body of Meja Urja Nigam Private Limited (MUNPL) on Saturday evening, organised a program for offering services to cows at one of the gaushalas at Kohdar Village of Prayagraj district.
During the program, AMS representatives offered their services by feeding 498 cows and spending quality time with them.
After ‘Gau Sewa’, representatives also greeted and expressed their gratitude to the Gau Sewaks of the Gaushala. Blanket and Umbrella distribution activity was also observed during the program.
Aparajita Mahila Samaj expressed their gratitude to the Gau Sewaks by providing them necessity items.
MUNPL is continuously engaged in cow protection and is dedicatedly taking initiatives in line with the Uttar Pradesh government’s action plan for cows and cattle welfare.
MUNPL under its Corporate Social Responsibility, has expressed its commitment towards the installation of fences around the Gaushala in next 2-3 months.
While greeting the villagers, Sarpanch and Gaushala workers, Smt. Usha Kumar, President, Aparajita Mahila Samaj thanked them for their selfless service to the mankind and said that their noble initiative will inspire many others to work towards cow protection.
“Cow is an embodiment of gods in our religion as all thirty-three crore gods reside in our mother cow,” said Smt. Usha Kumar.
AMS Vice-presidents Dr. Rakhi Maheshwari, Smt Sujata Sabat, Smt.Rekha Singh and Welfare Secretary Smt. Shweta Pandey were also present during the program.
