NTPC: Street drama organized under Vigilance Awareness Week
Meja, Prayagraj (Rajesh Shukla). As a part of Vigilance Awareness Week starting from 30th October, Meja Urja Nigam had ensured to organize several activities at its premises. Under which the organization made many tireless efforts to spread awareness about vigilance in its campus as well as in the surrounding villages.
Last Thursday, a 'Nukkad Natak' based on vigilance awareness was organized in the nearby Laltara village. The program was organized by the Swang-Rang organization based in Prayagraj on the theme of 'Savdhani-Hati Accident-Ghati', through which the artists told the public the ways to avoid fraud done by mobile in daily life.
In their presentation, the artists also tried to explain how the general public can contribute to creating a corruption-free society. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the play and also appreciated the initiative of the organization. The writer and director of the play was Sachin Chandra. Among the artists - Harshal Raj, Sharad Kushwaha, Ankit Tripathi, Aryan Nagar, Pranjal Srivastava, Priyanshu Kushwaha and Aarti Srivastava were present. Along with this, programs like quiz competition, essay-writing and speech-competition based on vigilance awareness were organized inside the campus. Employees and their families participated enthusiastically.
Chief Executive Officer Sunil Kumar in his message said, “Corruption is a curse for our society which we have to try to root out, for that such awareness activities should be organized from time to time so that common people can Citizens can know their rights and take timely steps in the right direction to prevent corruption from happening around them.
He also said that we do not need to be on any big page to eliminate evils from the society. If a common citizen is determined, he can root out corruption.
