Collaborative Vendor Meet organised at Meja Urja Nigam to address vendor grievances
Meja. Prayagraj (Rajesh Shukla).In observance with Vigilance Awareness Week 2023, a vendor meet was organised at Meja Urja Nigam (P) Limited.
The main focus of the interaction was to address the vendors issues pertaining to contracts and materials, and collaborative solutions were also put forward for consideration.
The event kicked off with a virtual address from Sunil Kumar, the CEO of MUNPL.
In his message, he emphasized the significance of the mutually beneficial relationship between the organization and its partners in progress (vendors).
Sunil Kumar expressed his gratitude to the stakeholders for their seamless cooperation and encouraged their active involvement in delivering services transparently and promptly.
He stressed the importance of maintaining accurate and proper documentation to prevent any payment delays and ensure the efficient delivery of services.
He said, "Corruption acts as a destructive force that eats away the nation. By cooperating with each other in a transparent manner, we can combat this evil and actively participate in the process of nation-building."
Furthermore, GM (O&M) Sarit Maheshwari highlighted the vital role vendors play in ensuring safety and well being of the workers.
He applauded the efforts of C&M department for providing a unified platform where vendors can openly discuss their concerns and explore avenues for enhancing business opportunities, thus guaranteeing that vendors/stakeholders receive the equal opportunities.
Adding to this, GM (C&M) Pradeep Kumar Sabat underlined the transparent and principled work approach of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, emphasizing that one should adopt his style to make a meaningful contribution to nation-building.
He emphasized on the role of technological advancement in efficiently managing businesses while upholding transparency in the company's business.
"Platforms such as GeM and SAP have proven highly effective and are continually improved to ensure that every business partner has a fair opportunity to thrive."
Senior executives also emphasized the company's commitment towards the compliance with the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) norms. Infact, they urged stakeholders to be cautious while implementing their works in order to avoid any damage to the environment and society.
The program was attended by heads of various other departments, business partners, and other MUNPL officials.
