Meja. Prayagraj (Rajesh Shukla). On 9th October 2025, Meja Urja Nigam Pvt. Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CRISP (Centre for Research and Industrial Staff Performance), Bhopal, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The agreement aims to provide employment-oriented training to 80 youths selected from seven Gram Sabhas located around the project area.
Under this MoU, selected candidates will receive industry-relevant technical training tailored to current market demands. The training programs include skill-based courses such as High-Pressure Welding Technician, Solar PV Installer Technician, CNC Machine Operator, and Assistant Fashion Designer. The objective of these programs is to equip the youth with modern technical competencies, thereby preparing them for self-employment and better opportunities in the industrial sector.
On this occasion, Shri Asesh Kumar Chattopadhyay, CEO, MUNPL , stated, “Meja Urja Nigam is committed to providing skill development and employment opportunities to local youth. This partnership with CRISP will not only empower them with technical knowledge but also guide their careers in a positive direction.”
The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Shri Asesh Kumar Chattopadhyay, CEO, MUNPL. The event was attended by Shri Vivek Chandra, HOHR, Shri Ajay Singh, DGM (HR), and Shri Pankaj Tiwari, Marketing Executive, representing CRISP.
